Helen's House, Inc. was started in the midst of COVID-19, while grieving over a failed marriage and an interrupted career. The CEO of Helen's House Inc., Lisa M. Fisher understands fully what P.O.U.R. represents, she poured into others who poured into her by PROVIDING, OFFERING, UPLIFTING and REBUILDING.
In 2020, Helen's House, Inc. provided over $21,000 in essential products to the elderly and single-parent homes. Facilitated a clothing drive for the homeless that collected over 200 coats and sweaters for homeless women, children, and men. Supported over 52 families in need with Thanksgiving Turkeys and provided Christmas Toys and Gifts to Single mothers and their children of Domestic Violence. And when there wasn't any more donations pouring in and sponsors didn't keep commitments, the CEO of Helen's House, Inc. once again used her own personal finances to give over 85 toys to children in need. God is absolutely amazing when his daughter is doing his work. James 2:17: "Faith by itself, if it doesn't have works is dead." A bible verse Lisa M. Fisher lives by. Faith is measured by what you do and not by what you talk about doing. So, guess what? SHE DID WHAT so many people TALK about DOING...she gave unselfishly.
